We are located above Olive That Deli. The door to our space is accessed on the east side of the building and you will turn left to go up the stairs.

The most important thing is that you are comfortable—wear clothing that you can move in. Semi-fitted clothing with moisture-wicking capabilities is an added bonus; some of our classes will make you sweat! All classes are barefoot.

While some are more beginner-friendly, like our Warm Slow Vinyasa Flow, in all classes, our instructors offer levels and modifications throughout class to accommodate all. Please let your instructor know if it is your first class to further assist you personally.

While, ultimately, participation in class is at a parent’s discretion, we don’t recommend our standard, heated, drop-in classes for yogis who have not yet gone through puberty.
We expect that all class participants will be kind, courteous, and appropriately behaved during class.
All waivers must be acknowledged and signed by a parent/guardian either online or in person before practicing at the studio.

We highly recommend speaking with your doctor. They will know what’s best for you and your specific needs. Typically, non-heated or low heated classes are best for pregnant women; be sure to consult with your doctor before you take any of our classes while pregnant.

You will want to bring a yoga mat and water bottle. We do offer these for an additional charge if you forget.

Hot Classes: For our classes listed as “hot” classes, our target temperature is above body temperature to encourage a healthy sweat.
Warm Classes: For our classes listed as “warm” classes, our room is gently heated to just below body temperature.
Unheated Classes: Our room, when unheated, sits about 75-80 degrees, so while there is no heat engaged during these classes, you will feel comfortable and cozy.

It is highly recommended that you sign up for classes ahead of time either through the website or the Mindbody app. You can view the schedule from our Mindbody Online Link and you can purchase memberships, packages and gift cards online as well.

You can practice yoga as often as you wish, and the optimal amount of practice is different for every person and fitness level. Listen to your body and follow its guidance.

Yes, simply create an account on the schedule link and select what package you wish to purchase. Certain discounts or special rates, like student pricing, must be verified in studio with valid ID.
Policies
Studio Etiquette
We ask that all personal belongings including; but not limited to; cell phones, keys, shoes, purses, gym bags, jackets, wallets etc. be left in a cubby outside of the yoga studio room.
Students must use a yoga mat for all yoga classes for safety purposes. Students may bring their own mat or rent a mat for $2 at the studio.
The Studio Room is a place of peace for our yogis. Please be respectful of others as before and after class.
No food or snacks inside the Studio Room.
Arrive early or on time; front door will be locked when class begins.
No observation of class by any adult or child is permitted. This is to ensure that all practicing yogis feel comfortable as they move through class.
The studio facilities (reception area, and restrooms) are available 30 minutes prior to class and 30 minutes after class.
Please let our teachers know before class of any special needs or medical conditions you may have.
Green Wood Yoga Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
Late Policy/No Show Fee
Please know that class will always start on time. Students who arrive past the start time of class may not have access to the studio after class begins as we lock the outside door during class to protect our clients’ belongings.
If must cancel a scheduled class, you have until 4 hours before the class to do so for the class pass to be returned to your account for later use.
Transactions
All studio transactions are final and may not be refunded, credited, or transferred.
Class Passes are non-transferrable and have specific expiration dates with no holds or extensions.
Memberships and Class Passes are good for regular drop-in classes. They do not apply to workshops or other specialty classes.
Promotional offers are final sales and non-refundable.
By purchasing services or products in studio or online, you are agreeing to our safety and liability waiver and releasing Green Wood Yoga and its employees from any liability for injury, bodily harm, or death.
